A frensel lens on the hull to reflect the sun, an idea but likely would generate terrible heat issues and pretty sure walking about on the deck would be a problem with out special clothing and very dark glasses.

Having trouble imagining the level of reflected light in a marina. But she’s an architect. Exploring concepts for 13 million. Some one will figure out the details.

No, that was frustrating and, I thought, odd that one would need a password, just to view the projects. But they all looked exciting. Do you think I could get one from just asking or would I need to put a down payment down on 13 million dollars?

I'm always excited by innovation. I didn't open the link(have to turn off Adblocker). I agree that I'm not sure the arch has sailing science down.

But these 'game changer' concepts convince me that sailing in it's most basic form, will survive and likely prosper in the future.

We sailed around M5 off Camden Harbor last season. Already, it's a design that looks dated to me. Big is it's only wow factor. On the other hand, the Curtis Island lighthouse will likely be there in a 100 years (hopefully it has sufficient height to be above 2118 tidal range), and I'll bet it's simple 1918 architecture will still be appreciated.

I sent a request for an access code. I admitted that I was not of an economic class to be a potential client. We'll see how that goes.
