Currently have CNG on my 94 35.5 and I'm about to complete a holding tank replacement. In planning for a conversion to propane at some future date, I thought I'd go ahead and pull the hose for propane since it would work best following the route of the factory CNG hose which is behind the holding tank. All I need to do is pull an "assembled supply hose" of the correct lenght, correct? The supply hose has a male and a female connector, which end goes to the stove hookup? Not trying to start a debate on the 2 fuels, read all that in archives. Just trying to make it easier for myself or future owner to make the switch.

Re: your CNG conversion

I guess Hunter redesigned the layout of the CNG systems between '93 and '94. Strictly for the sake of performance, I prefer the tank in the setee seat(weight midships and low). Fotunately, running new tubing is relatively easy with all that easy access under the aft berth if there is no way to use the CNG line. The next shippment of Fuel Whistles should be ready shortly. Did you order one?

Rebuild stove! Don't Bust (Explode) Your Bubble!

Remember the CNG-to-Propane conversion is more than just changing the supply hose. The gas orafices on the stove must be propane-compatible for this to work. Also the storage tank MUST be in a vented locker on the outside of the main cabin according to ABYC standards.

Thanks Paul...

I posted this looking for advice. I had been reading about the conversion when the forums seemed to go down and I'm trying to get some parts on order. Paul, would you know which fitting goes to back of stove, male or female? I've seen "assembled supply hoses" with 2-females and also one male and one female. I need to get the supply hose ordered asap as it is holding up another project. I've read the kit for stove is readily available from Seaward. Considering rail mounting locker to keep gas outside of boat.

Paul, I wasn't implying or suggesting that the stove could be used as propane. Merely discussing the run of the lines.
