98% of glass auto "Buss" fuses are standard size. Only the internal wire that "blows" is different.
Make sure the little metal "wings" on the fuse cap are going into the slots properly. It is quite annoying trying to get them in there. You are pushing against a spring and trying to align the cap too. Once you get the "wings" to go in, it is usually a 1/8 turn clockwise and then the spring will push the cap back towards you just a bit as the wings drop into the detent. The slot the wings go into is shaped like the letter "J". Keep us posted.
