I purchased a 23.5 this fall with a CDI Flexible Furler 2. The furler works pretty good. The only thing I would say is to find out what kind of modifications you will need with any existing jib to make the sail fit the furler.
It seems that all of my friends now have the home made PVF roller reefer/furler as described on the Compac owners web site. I bet if you build it you won't go back and you won't pay for a commercially made one either. I have yet to see anyone put the pvc system on their boat and not be really happy with it. One friend even took his old CDI furler off and built a PVC system because it made it easier to raise the mast.
