I tried out a CDI Spinnaker furler on my H33. I was not happy with it. I converted back to a North sails spinnaker sock. On my H26 and H37 I use an ATN furler. You do have to go on the foredeck but it works pretty easily.
Have you tried using one with a sock ? I've used the ATN socks on our last two boats and found it worked well. We now have a Doyle APC with ATN sock on our H356, it has not been used much but wondering if you found there was a problem ?
If you go with a furler let us know how it works out.

I have a Doyle UPS on a furler, don't do it! I had it checked and the center line they used to build it is not the one that Doyle suggests and yet it was built by a Doyle loft. All my sails are one off by a real sail maker now, not a big manufacturer in a local loft. I'll be going back to socks only from now on also. It's more work to setup the furler and therefore more time on the fore deck which the admiral hates. Hope this helps.
