I have a 2000 Hunter 340 with a furling main, The loop that holds the head of the sail on the mast, and the strips that attach the clew to the outhaul have both come apart. I just had the clew repaired and saild the boat for the first time Sunday when the loop at the head of the sail failed. When I take the sail back to the sailmaker, I guess I should have the loop at the tack of the sail replaced as well. Has anyone else had any problems like this? This sail is relatively new with very little use. Am I doing something wrong, or is there some preventive measure I should talke?ajp
