Furling Genoa getting stuck

We have been using the furling genoa (Furlex) for weeks now with no problems yet the otherday when we began to furl her in she got stuck 3/4 of the way. We took the Genoa off and put her back on but the same thing happened again. Does anyone have any suggestions as what we should be checking on? The paperwork that we have only shows diagrams of the parts but no troubleshooting page.

One thing to try...

It definately helps to keep some slight tension on the furling line while unrolling the jib. Otherwise the line tends to tangle on the drum and cause problems. Have someone tail the furling line for you or wrap it lightly around something. Was the problem caused by overrides on the drum or do you suspect something else?

If the forestay gets to sloppy, things can bind.
