I have a roller furler on my O-DAy 25 and I need an upper swivel. There is no manufacturer name or ID. Any idea where I can find a generic equiv?

Take It To A Sail Loft

Mike, I don't know that any upper swivel will work, there is probably enough design difference between them, but since lofts are selling lots of RF's these days and the sails cut for them, I would seek an expert's opinion on replacement. What's your issue with it? Does it have a bearing race? Don

Take it apart

Hi Mike - Don's suggestion of taking it to a sail loft is a good one. Is it currently jammed, tight, working at all? Perhaps you could take it apart and check the bearings. What condition is the lower drum? There should be some sort of mfg ID on the lower drum, but if not, a sailmaker might be able to help. Worst case scenario, it might be time for a new furling system. Best, Trevor
