Mike, I have a Furlex furler on my C27 Tall Rig (1985) I have had it approximately 5 trouble free years.I have my 150% genny on it and can reef to any size depending on the weather.Any questions?
I am having a CDI Flex furler installed this week. I will let you know how it works out. I looked all over and most started at $1100 for equipment only. I noticed that many boats on my pier had the CDI so I looked it up on the internet and was very surprised at the price. It is going to be about $1350 complete installed including recutting my 150. The furler system itself is about $650. The down side from what I can see is it only has 1 slot so if you are a racer it doesn't have the advantage the more expensive models do.
