Stew asked me if I thought the stand up paddle boarders know the colregs?

I replied that It seems that they didn't need to know much as their limited manouverability makes them the stand on vessel. Then he pointed out what I'd said

Yes... Being a former Boeing engineer, Ken is pretty soft spoken and sometimes obtuse...

So what happens if two stand up paddle boarders are heading for a collision? Is the taller paddler the more stand on vessel?

I think we have to go back to the principle of limited maneuverability.

My take on who the giveway vessel should be is it is the younger boarder who is the giveway vessel, since both are obviously the stand-on vessels. The older you get, the less you giveway.
Don't believe me? Just ask a woman over 20 to give away her age.

The ADA takes presidence at some point.
