I've been searching for the funnel that you would attach to a raw water filter so that you can winterize whatever...I just can't remember the website. Searches don't help much and its getting nearer haul out.

I use a turkey baster to suck the water out of the top.

Here is the problem I foresee with the seaflush system or similar: what about the water from the seacock to the strainer? Won't this leave that section of hose unprotected?

Nah JK- the BEST way to winterize a boat engine is to take it somewhere warm- like the Keys or Bahamas

Just like it Kloudie but somewhat cheaper. I'm only doing the small strainers to wash-down pump, refrig., etc. along with the fresh water system. That should be enough to keep me busy. I'll have the yard do the engine and gen-set.
