Short video of our delivery from Victoria, BC to Seattle across the strait of Juan de Fuca -- that we had to cross 3 times in one day... Fun action starts 5:30 mins.
Hope this makes Friday morning sunny and windy in your office ;-)

WOW!

Thanks. You really didn't have a lot more sail you could take in but the boat seemed very well balanced and was really punching through. That was fun to watch and yes.... my office now feels a bit more windy. :)

Nice Video. I can't imagine going back to Friday Harbor just to hit customs. I would think Seattle could accommodate that.

I can understand the Port Townsend could not help you but why Friday Harbor. There is a customs office in Port Angeles. The Port Townsend agent is a member of the Port Angeles facility.

Port Angeles if only 18 miles form Victoria.

Yeah. We were just out of PT when we turned around, almost same distance st PA. We debated and looked. FH had much better wind/current combo.

We thought of that too, but we could not reach Seattle in time. Plus all of us were up for the additional time on the water. I am blessed with an amazing crew ;)
