I've had the Fugawi software for a number of years and recently upgraded to the the ENC version. The ENC charts are quite impressive, you can set depth limits that will show on the chart where you shouldn't go. Also the Fugawi supports PDAs such as Palm and HP so you can download maps to your PDA to use in emergency if the PC packs up or just to have something more convenient to look at if you don't want the PC in the cockpit. Unfortunately not all the maps are converted to the ENC format but its increasing gradually. Too bad the Canadian government won't convert their charts to ENC and quit giving DO a monopoly.

Tides and Currents?????

Does the software show tides and current and will it work with ray marine gps chartplotter with radar and c-map. I get the tides now but really looking for the currents ,I am trying to compare fugai with the raymarine or other navigation software

Fugawi ENC

The software runs on a PC or PDA and needs an input from a GPS. Just about any GPS the outputs NMEA will do even the ones using a bluetooth connection (this a wireless interface the others connect to the GPS via the serial port on the PC). I don't think ENC provides tide and current information like the chart plotters that use the Navionics and C-Map do. The related link is for Fugawi ENC:
