Fugawi 3 GPS or Fugawi marine ENC

I am thinking of getting Fugawi 3GPS mapping software to use as backup at navstation on my laptop with my garmin handheld gps. I have raymarine RL70CRC PLUS-with C-MAP chip and radar at the helm,it works great and love but the chip did go bad last year when I was cruising one weekend far from home. My laptop would make a good backup and wondering any one have good results with fugawi on their laptop and are you using fugawi marine enc or just 3 gps. nick

Fugawi works well . I would go with the newer version that works with ENC's

Fugawi needs XP.

I tested Fugawi with their demo and wanted the ENC version. Then I found that I had to upgrade to Windows XP on the laptop. So I am sticking with The Cap'n. THe ENC charts are just OK. But since they are free it might be the way to go.
