Brian, It makes several shallow S turns followed by a hard right at the heat exchanger. How bendable is this hose?Larry, Is your boat in Tillamook? Lyric is in Brookings. WaltYou should be able to use hardwall exhaust hose (blue stripe) of the correct size for any water hoses. There is no reason to order Yanmar hoses.

Hardwall exhaust hose in the size you need - 3/4 or 1" - can be easily bent 180 degrees back on itself without a problem.

Hi Walt,I know the hose you mean: it comes off the raw water pump and snakes it's way around varios parts of the engine, with a U-shaped loop around one of the fresh water hoses, to end up at the heat exchanger ... quite a tidy setup. Is this what your hose looks like? (not my engine, but the same) The pipe I use is part # 128690-49010... I think .... I may have the original hose package on the boat (with the old hose in it) so I'll check to be sure. I notice the pictures in the parts manual look a bit different. Will get back to you if I can find the old package.Peter. http://www3.telus.net/sailing/128690-49010.jpg View on www3.telus.net Preview by Yahoo

Hi Peter, If that hose is 25mm OD it is the right one. It shows on the freshwater diagram (page 40) in the Yanmar parts book. Any way I've sent an email to them in regards to a new part and info on returning the old ones. Hopefully it will be in stock. Thanks again, Walt From: AlbinVega@yahoogroups.comTo: AlbinVega@yahoogroups.comDate: Sun, 15 Jun 2014 22:15:37 -0700Subject: [AlbinVega] RE: hoses
