How large is the fuel tank on an S2 8.0? My guage is on the fritz and I have no idea the actua size of the tank.

Gauge, what gauge?
Having a gauge must be nice. The owner's manual shows a 21 gal. tank, but also shows an Atomic4 gas engine. I have the Yanmar diesel (1 cyl. 8hp)and I know they put in sail drives as well so the tank size may differ. If you can measure the tank, the conversion is... 1 cf = 7.48 gal.
