Looking for info on how the diesel tank is attached to the hull on a hunter 34, and how do you go about pulling one out.Thanks for the help.

Through the Quarterbirth?

The tank is simply strapped into place. Cut the strapping, and out it would come. As for how to get it out of the bildge, I would imagine that the only way might be to remove the wood panel separating the quarterbirth from the starboard bilge.Why do you need to remove the tank? Is it ruptured? If so, just cut the old one up to remove it. If not, do whatever you have to do to it in the bilge area.JeffEscapade'85 34

I agree, there is no way to remove the tank except by removing the bulkhead between the aft compartment and the locker where the tank is located.J K Kudera s/v 50/50
