Fuel tank

This question is prompted by Rick's fuel tank question. I have a 1975 C-30, #75. When I bought her the PO had taken the fuel tank out to repair a leak. He never reglassed it in. I tried to position the tank in what I thought was the origional position, but in my usual fine fashion, missed. The second attempt was closer, I think. I have not been able to find any measurements or specifications on the position of this tank. Assuming Rick, Allen, James and Mark's tanks are in the stock/origional position, can you guys offer any help as to correst position? Thanks in advance. John Gajdos

Tank Position

My tank is rectangular. The longest length of the tank goes from port to starboard, and the tank is glassed in so that about 3/4 of it is on the starboard side. It is not centered, like one would think.I hope this helps. If you need more clarification, send me an email...allens@mathworks.com
