I recently filled my tank to just below the cap. I say the level of the fuel about an inch or 2 below the fuel receptical. The following morning. The fuel level was no longer visible. I check everywhere for a fuel leak. There were none. Any ideas what could cause this?

Cooler temperature in the morning??? Probably had air trapped in a corner of the tank and with the rocking of the boat it probably worked itself free and was displaced by fuel bringing the level down. I'm glad I don't notice them things.
I think you've got the correct answer, Dilliance.. If he filled the tank that high and didn't have fuel/foam running out of the vent, it is plugged.. The dirt daubers and spiders are coming out of their winter off season..
PGI.. scrunch down into the cave and pull the 5/8" vent line on the aft of the tank .. try to push air through it.. if it seems restricted, you'll probably have to pull the little vent fitting on the transom and clean it out. It is reachable from inside the lazarette locker.

Thank you all! I think the vent line is the answer. The person who had the boat before me moved the batteries to the cave, so there is not a good place for my feet in the cave. Maybe someone can post a video on youtube and show how they enter the cave!
If you knew my neighbor, Claude's initial though of fuel theft, might be right on the money! He intentionally pushed his Trimaran back to our property line so that I would have a harder time docking.

Just dug spider nests out of all my vents--an annual spring thing after sitting on the hard for the winter. Had a holding tank odor couple years ago due to a spider taking up residence in the vent. Dalliance's right about a probable air bubble due to a block vent.
