Fuel line for Tohatsu

Can anyone tell me if the smaller (5/16" line) Tohatsu and Yamaha fuel line fittings are the same?

I'm glad you got back to the thread on that however if you could shed some light on the found answer and the reason you needed the info, it may save me a half glass of warm milk and a trip to WM(if I ever own a Tohatsu).

I thought I remembered someone on trailer sailors saying that Tohatsu and Yamaha were the same but from looking at parts lists I gather Tohatsu and Nissan are either the same or at least share fuel line connectors. They say memory is the first to go.
I was going to buy a new complete line and cycle the one I use to "spare" but since new ones are $50-$60 I'll just wail till I need to replace this one.

had yamaha 150 1986, now have 2008 nissan-tohutsu 50 they are different but easy to change out.

Tohatsu and Nissan are the same, but the fuel line fittings between the older 2 cycle engines and the newer 4 cycle engines are different. The Yamaha fittings fit Yamaha and not Nissan or Tohatsu.

Yamaha and Mercury are the Same

Though going from one Manufacturer to another on the fittings does not always work out.

I had seen just about all other makes except for Tohatsu and Nissan at Wally World for around $25 and had thought I remembered one of the members saying Tohatsu and Yamaha were the same but I was wrong. WW had Yamaha.
Think I'll just get one from a real boat store (SBO if they carry fuel lines by then) when the time comes. Should be better quality and luckily don't have to do it often.
