My fuel gauge meter located in the cockpit (1983 Oday 28) has not worked properly for years. I use to tap on the top of the fuel tank near the wire connection and the gauge needle would reset to the current level in the tank. That no longer works. Has anyone changed out the gauge and if so any recommendations as to the compatible part and ease of installation would be greatly appreciated?
