For starters, you can try looking at Racor... http://www.maesco.com/products/racor/r_tbn_intro/r_tbn_specs/r_tbn_specs.html

Racor ???

Racor ?? I certainly can't find a website that provides any meaningful information on Racor products. All I can find are some distributors that list some Racor/Parker products but no usefull or complete information. Maybe someone can enlighten me..Thanks

I Used the...

9 gallon per minute Racor (R2x??). It had the same footprint, lines as the Racor 110. All I had to buy was the 3 fuel line fittings and haven't had a problem in over 9 years. But pay heed to what the others say. A call to the CG can be worth it's weight in gold. Or look it it online if you google ABYS.

Racor fuel filters

Mark, I'm thinking of changing out my OEM Racor filter too. I have the model 230 which uses a 30 micron spin-on cannister, which dispite my best efforts at containing the fuel, I seem to make a reasonable mess of it with plastic bags. Regardless, I'm looking at Racor's 500 series turbo filters with a cartridge filter that load from the top. The bowl and SS cup make checking for water easy. On our boats, the Yanmar enging doesn't need much fuel pressure and these filters will work tops. BTW: Defender is having its warehouse sale through the weekend and these filter systems are a pretty good deal at $187 with the filter at $8.

Finally an answer

I finally got in touch with the tech service guy at Racor/Parker. His name is Robert and was very helpful and knew the product line well. As recommended by Ron M I purchase the 500 seris filter from Defender. Thanks to all for the input.
