I added same racor

I added the same filter and replaced the that little 110 that came on my 290 it is pretty big and most likely over kill for my 2GM20 but I like to be able to see the fuel and its easy to check for water and real easy to prime with out bleeding the system. I got it at west marine discount store in babylon for $85.00,I don't think I would of added it if I had to pay the the regular price of over $200. My rear bunk bulk head is not asy to remove and so I put in the engine compartment with a shut off value, whats with the 33's rear bullk head it looks easy to remove. nick

Rear Bulkhead

Yes it is very easy to remove the panel, easier than gettig into the engine compartment and ther is plenty of room. I now think I will use the compartment for storage. Also, it is not hot at all in the rear compartment out of the engine compartment. I don't think that mine is a raycor, but the replacement filters are suppose to be about half of the original 110. I understand my new ones will be about $5. I plan to get them from my Yanmar dealer and I already have a spare on board along with a yanmar fuel filter, belts, etal.
