I have a new Hunter 36. After docking yesterday I discovered that a heavy fuel smell in the cabin was caused by the fuel filter hose which had disonnected with the clamps still on the hose. Several inches of fuel spilled into the catch basin underneath the engine. (I gather that the hose disconnected at or about the time I docked because I had used the engine without incident or indication of a problem earlier in the day.) I had no indication beforehand that the hose was loose. Have any of you had this problem and, if so, how have you handled it? Thanks.
