drain the bowl
Jim; To see if there's any water in the bowl, place a flashlight behind it and shine the light back toward you. Water shows as a black gunk. To drain it, find the knurled petcock knob on the bottom of the bowl. It'll have a barbed fitting. Put a short piece of clear tube on it, put the end in a small glass jar and open the petcock. The water flows out. When you see clear fuel flowing, close the petcock. No need to bleed. (This works for Racors, anyway)
