Need your help! Last night I completed an oil change on my 1984 Universal M25 diesel motor without incident. I then proceded to change my fuel filter and I assumed the the procedure was similar to changing the oil filter. WRONG! The diesel motor started up as usual but stopped after 30 or so seconds. I tried to restart it and nothing. Rechecked the filter and found it to be dry. I know my system is fine and I guess I have air trapped in the lines or I guess I should have done something else when changing a fuel filter. Do I need to bleed the lines? And, how do I do this. Thanks for your answers. Everyone has been very helpful in the past.
