I'm curious about the new generation of marine fuel cells-eg: Scandvik. I was wondering if they are a half way decent alternative to having a generator. Apparantly, they do not create toxic fumes--only carbon dioxide and can produce up to 50 amps for up to 72 hours. Are there AC versions or DC versions? Cost? Anybody have any input?

Check out what’s available at www.fuelcellstore.com I think a conventional genset has a few more years before fuel cells replace them. Hopefully in a few years that will not be the case! Dave
