Looks like a lot of them got caught by the current/tide on the East side of the Breton Peninsula, and not much wind. Even the Ultime tris are only doing 2 knots, and they're out in the Bay of Biscay.

Dallying around in the bay of Biscay with the Ultime tri's doing short tacks? Crazy weather!

The Ultime Tris are coming up to the Cape Verde Islands, but still suffering from flukey breezes. "Only" doing 16 knots. Other fleets having similar problems-- stretched between the Canaries and Cape Finisterre in Spain.

The first of the Ultime Tri's has rounded the island off of Southern Brazil and is headed back up to the equator at 34 knots. The 60's and Imocas are closing in on their turning point, Fernando de horona, and the forty or so Class 40's are bunched up - many within sight of each other - near their "mark"- the Canary Islands. Winds have picked up, but the doldrums are looking iffy for getting to Martinique as fast as they'd all like.
