It's good to see...

that the next generation of sailors are already prepairing for the future. These youn people used the skills and knowledge they've already learned, along with some great common sence to save the lives of three people who as far as I can tell, had neither the common sence or skills to be where they were. A story like this reinforces the fact that we as a nation have now , and will have in the future heroes we can look up to. Great job kids, and thank you from another sailor ;D

Glad to see something good

It is good to see something good in the news about teens. Everytime you see something in the news about teens it is because of drugs or robbing a gas station. I believe the majority of the teens are good people and don't get enough coverage in the news about their good deeds. But then good news dosn't sell newspapers. Good going kids. Tommy.

TommyT, Try to remember that there are about 50 million tenagers it this country

only a few hundred of them get into enough trouble to get the attention of law enforcement. I know dozens of kids and all of them are good. I was a kid once and managed to stay under the radar but I had my ways. This country is going to be alright if what I see in todays kids is an indication.

I agree with you Ross

I just feel that the good kids don't get enough recognition.
