Fripp Island sailing

We've been invited to spend a weekend with friends on Fripp Island. I'm thinking of pulling our boat there. Does anyone know of a place (marina, etc) where I could put it in the water to do a little coastal sailing?

Fripp Island, SC looks like home to about 10 properties. The satellite view shows a very large public parking lot with ramp just as route 170 crosses the river about quarter mile away.

Longitude: 080°50.201'W

County landing. Off State Road 170, Lemon Island Bridge, on Chechessee River. Carefull stiff tides possible to the beam. Busy on weekends with local use. Steep enough for shallow keel launch.

Bridge clearance at 20 ft. and water depth at 7 to 23 feet.
