Fridge Waeco

Waeco fridge on 2006 Catalina 309 cycles on and off every minute or so under shore power.....does not cool sufficiently.

Read several posts about power supply problems...not sure if this is symptom of power supply issues or something else?

Any ideas?

If it runs properly under DC, then you can bet the problem is with the AC converter on the back of the fridge.

My boat has the AC converter located in the port cockpit locker, next to an AC outlet that it's plugged in to. I've had to replace it twice in 4 years. Replacements can be found at Defender for around $50.
