I have a 2005, Hunter 260 does anyone know of someone installing a 2 way fridge inside of cabin, sick of running to store for ice every 2 days.

For shore power use only? Without a way to generate EZ 12v power you're going to get not a lot of value from that.

Most coastal boats use a 12V refrigerator which runs off the battery bank. When hooked up to shorepower the inboard battery charger keeps the batteries charged but when underway or at anchor care needs to be used as not to deplete the batteries. If you are talking about having refrigeration at the dock then the best alternative would be an $80 120V dorm refrigerator. These will even keep temperature for a few hours after unhooking from power.

You may want to get a 3 way coolatron that runs on propane as well. But buy a good one. I have one and run a hose to a small secondary propane tank and it works like a charm. Just make sure you do not run it while moving.

The 260 was not designed for a standard refrigerator due to the very nature of trailering. I should know as this issue was brought up to me for during the design. Info is correct about the storage capacity but to recharge may not be as good as having a Honda 2000 on board but again that takes up space. Some have paid extra for a cooler that has the high insulating factor where ice will last for several days and you could remove the old cooler and lid and place the new cooler in that space without the lid. There is no easy soulution, so I guess the choice will be left up to you.
