The battery in a 260 does not lend itself to the extra burden of a refrigerator. We sail a 29.5 and nod our heads whenever couples complain abou their inadequet/noisy/expensive fridge. We use a block of ice, to great advantage. Try that first.
Bill is correct. The DC Fridges are not worth the power they draw. At best they keep things cool not cold and the power required to operate will kill your expensive marine battery very quickly. Block ice will keep for 2+ days in your cooler and keep the frosties frosty. (Block ice is free when you freeze water in 2 litre pop bottles and as added bonus you get ice cold drinking water when it thaws.)
