Fridge compressor run non-stop...

..on my new Coolmatic 12V fridge , Danfost(?) D-35 compressor equipped , and evaporator . It get very hot too although ventilator running. What might be the reason ?

Low on freon!

Alex: I think that this is an indication that it is low on freon. You need to have a service person check it for leaks and recharge it. Too much or to little freon and they don't work properly.

It could be out of gas. Need more information to help you with this one. What part numbers do you have installed? Is the evaporator getting cold? Does the compressor cycle on and off? If so how often and for how long? What is the amperage draw while on?

leaks!!!!!!

I purchased a coolmatic from defender and it worked great,,...but, had to have it charged. Factory was great about it. I guess they all need a bit of a charge after the install.The trick is in the couplings, they tend to leak if you don't get them tight enough. Again, the factory was great about it, even though I left them a bit loose, they sent someone, at thier cost to fix it.
