I have a 2000 Hunter 450 Passage and there seems to be a leak in the 90 gallon tank under the Nav station . How do you get to the valves to check them or replace them??

Pretty sure there are no valves on the tank. There should be a manifold that has all the tanks "on-off" valves in one location. The only thing "at the tank" is fittings for the hoses. don't know the 450 at all but suspect you would need to pull the sole board(s) to gain access to the tanks and hose fittings. That may require loosing a salon seat upright or two to allow the sole board to be removed.

How do you know the tank is leaking?

My two tanks system has a valve manifold near my freshwater pump and water heater. I would look at where you pump is located. Mine is under salon seat just forward of Nav table.

I have looked all around the water heater and the pump and shut off valves. I have tracked almost everything. The only area you can't really get to is the area under the engine/gen to check the valves. But with a three foot optic scope we have . Still not certain where the water is coming from. But seems to only happen when that tank is filled

check your fill hose and vent hose clamps along with the fittings and make sure they are tight if you are talking about the fresh water tank...also check your vent and make sure its not stopped up or clogged

For this particular tank the vent and fill lines are under the nav seat and no signs of water.. We took the water gauge top off and looked inside with a flash light and the scope. Took out to long black pieces of gasket. Also sucked out grit. Noticed the shall I say caulking around the drain was soft!!!! It go all over the scope. Let me add or restate that when this tank was left empty for a week or two there was no water in the bilge but three days after filling and running test there is water in the bilge. Yesterday morning I sucked out 1 1/2 inches and now again the same.

If you want to locate a leak and verify your tank integrity, here is a classic way to find a leak in a swimming pool (underground tank).
1) Partial fill the tank. (I would guess 20 gallons or ≈25% of tank level)
2) Add food coloring non toxic dye. (I see red easier)
3) Check your bilge water color with a clear sample bottle.
4) Check level changes in the tank. ( now here is the trick)
Trick...
1) If no level change or no colored bilge water..... Not the bottom ≈25%:)
2) If a slight level change and then Stop. Your tank level is at the leak.
3) No level change and no color.... Bottom of tank eliminated.:dancing:
Continue that testing by adding another 20 gallons and repeat the test.

BTW if you tank is Aluminum like mine, the weld areas are the most likely spot for a leak.

one of my water tanks leaks at the fitting to the supply line it is cracked at the bottom of were the fitting is joined to the tank and it only leeks if its full to half after that it stops leaking you might want to check that.
