I am not clear on how the fresh water tanks are supposed to work. All three tanks are full, Water is only being used from the Aft tank. Port and Starboard tanks remain full. All three valves on manifold are in the open position. Water pressure and hot water works fine. Any idea on why not drawing from the other tanks? Is there another valve that I am not aware of? 410 water tanks

Bryce, on my 98 410 the aft water tank is located next to the fuel tank and is quite a bit higher than the port and starboard tanks. with all three valves open, you'll only draw water until the aft tank enpties and then you'll draw air until you close the aft tank valve at which point you can draw water from the othr two tanks. I normally only open one valve at a time, starting with the aft (my wife's shoes still keep us balanced :) hope this helps. Bryce S/V Spellbinder H410

One valve at a time

We have 4 tanks on our 40.5, which we have had for 5 years. Ours only works with a single tank open at a time. Not really a problem and it does remind you that you are getting low on water when 3 of the tanks are empty.
