Fresh water pump pressure problem

I accidentally left my water pressure switch on when I left my boat some four weeks ago. Upon my return this weekend, I found the pump running continuously and no water remaining in the fresh water tank. After refilling the fresh water tank, I found no leaks and the pump seemed to work as normal. However, the water pressure in the galley sink and head sink was only a trickle. The pressure in the shower was normal. I even hooked up shore water to the stern intake valve to see if the pressure in the sinks would improve - no such luck! Any ideas on why I have normal pressure in the shower but only a trickle of water in both sinks? Does the pump need to be replaced? or does the water line need primed or bled? Thanks for any assistance you may give! S/V You Be U

Remove the filters on the faucet and try again.

Quite often when the tanks are allowed to empty completely you will suck up some dirt or debris and since you always try galley and head sinks before the shower, that's where it would go first. Most galley and head sinks have a small filter screwed on the end of the faucet. Uncrew it and turn pressure back on again. My bet is that if you have pressure in the shower head, you will have some. Clean the filters and re-install. Good luck.
