Fresh Water Plumbing?

I am considering installing an automatic water pump for my freshwater system. Has anyone done this on the 25.5? Where did you find the best place to install the pump? Also where does the head sink plumbing line attach? Below an access panel in the port quarter berth, I have found where a plumbing pipe attaches to the fresh water tank. And it seems to me that this pipe runs to the galley sink. Does this pipe have a T fitting in it which the head sink pipe attaches? or does the head sink line attach to a different location on the water tank? Thanks.

freshwater sink pump

Anthony: I can't answer anything about the sink in the V-berth, but I had our galley sink plumbed last spring. I used the $50 faucet/pump kit from West Marine with the switch in the faucet handle. (I can't remember the make and model number) It works extremely well if you are content with cold water only which is pressurized. This very small and inexpensive change made a big difference for the wife and kids during our cruises. I wholeheartedly recommend that unit. Scott

Just remember.

Your water consumption will probably increase 2-4 times. Very easy to let it run a little longer than it needs to each time you pump water. We had a H'25 and never ran out of water. We get a new boat with 2-3 times the capacity and we are always out of water.
