Fresh water filter

Has anyone been using a filter in their fresh water system that they have found particularly effective in removing mineral flavors such as you might get from well water?

I purchased a large filter from Camping World that works well with well water. It has disposable cartridges.

Something similar to this one.

We have issues with sedimate in the lines when the pressure tank (on the well) runs low. We get this junk that is in the lines. This filter takes care of that problem.

I installed a GE whole house filter. Bought it at Home Depot. It has replaceable filter cartridges that I replace ever 6 months or so. Works great but remember to make sure your downstream water hose is clean otherwise it won't do you much good.

Here's pics of the regular house-hold water filter from one of the home center big box stores I have installed on my H34's water system. I also use an identical one between the shore water connection and the fill tank hose when filling the tank. Double filtered water. You can get cartridges for different purposes.
