Fresh Water coolant draining

Need some clarification on the Yanmar 2GM20F procedure to drain the fresh water coolant. Manual references one (1) drain screw on the starboard side a little bit above the Oil dipstick. I see two (2) screws here with clear drain hoses attached. The lower of the two appears to match the manual's illustration and description. However the higher of the two appears to be on the coolant tank itself. Anyone with a 2GM20F have the same? And do I need to be concerned with the higher of the two? Thanks. Pete

I have 2 on my 3HM35F

One is located on the heat exchanger while the other is on the block. Together, they only drain about 1/2 the coolant fluid. It's not a tough job to drain with the two seacocks, so each year I empty them and replace about a half gallon of 50/50 mix. This keeps it fresh and removes sediment from the exchanger.

Do you have...

hot water with engine running? If so, you'll need to drain a lot more than half a gallon. Once again, make/model of boat would be nice to know.
