27' hunter. hull stripped four years ago and has had well applied pettit standard antifouling paint applied every spring except last one - 2003. was in water with bubble jets last winter and has not been taken out and painted since spring 2002. will the hull be o.k. until next spring - 2004 - assuming it is kept in the water for the winter without a coat of antifoul. water is not very saline and barnacles although found in the bay, none too bad. any information, tips, etc. will be appreciated.

I would leave it in

If you intend to wet store, let it in and haul in the spring to clean and repaint. If you are going to store on the hard, bottom wash and clean the hull before winter and then repaint in the spring. I see no advantage in pulling the boat to clean and bottom paint and then put backin the water now to wet store. If you did this, IMO it would still be adviseable to pull in the spring and clean for the summer season.
