leak
Rankin,I have been in the refrig/HVAC field for a long time. If your talking about a chest type frig with a hinged lid, It should not accumulate condensation. If it does it is more than likely an air leak around the gasket causing it. Warm most air entering your box experiences a temperature drop against the inside of the lid. This will cause the problem. If you add a fan it will probably cure the evident problem. If it is a leak casuing the condensation however the fan will cause the leaking gasket, in effect, to leak more refrigerated air. This will cause an undo drop in efficieny of the system.I would scutinize the seal and the gasket first, then take it from there. We have the same chest type on our 376, It doesn't have any noticible condensation on the underside of the lid.Good Luck,Mike D
