We have a Hunter Vision 36.
Richard:We just purchased a Hunter Vision 36 in Feb. 2006. It sails quite well and is easy to sail. It does take some getting used to with the hugh main. It is a little strange going foward without and shrouds. When the wind pipes up the mast will bend to spill off some wind. This allows you to sail with a little more wind before you reef than a traditional rig. Running downwind is also easy with the big main. The larger Freedom's have a small jib like our Hunter Vision, so they do point well (better than many sailor's would lead you to believe). Some of the Freedom's use a Camber Spar self tending jib, which is also quite nice.I was looking for a Freedom when I purchased my 36. These boats hold their value quite well.
