I have a Walt Murray Windvane about 80% + of all the parts maybe more if I can find everything. (see images) I would like to give it away to someone who has a 20-30’ sailboat and is good with their hands. I even had it working (mini rudder) on a saw horse many moon ago. I started to convert the bottom half of the Windvane to the newer plans built with copper tubing. I was going to put it on my old Catalina 27. But three boats later and it still sits. All my new boats have been too big. The vane and 2 rudders have been cut and one rudder shaped. (see images) I even have some fiber glass for the rudders plus lead for the counter balance. It will have to be pick-up here in the LA, CA area or maybe Marina Del Rey, CA. I’ll try and shoot more images this weekend for likely candidates. I also have some plans and other info.
