A few weeks ago the wife decided that I needed to clean the garage and do something with the stuff that was never used. I listed many marine related things on Catalinaowners free web site. I priced everything very fairly and sold almost every item. I did business with some very nice people. It was a little unnerving to some buyers sending money to me with out knowing if I would ship the item so in a couple of cases I shipped before receiving payment. Everything worked out fine, happy seller, happy buyers, happy wife! I wanted to let you folks know know that if you don't visit and use this free classified web site your missing out on something valuable. I get a lot from this web site, great advice and entertainment so I wanted to say "Thank you" to Phil for offering it. Jack Ps. As much as I'd love to see the Pats go to the Bowl (I live nearly in their back yard), the better team did emerge and they won fair and square. (Last week the Pats won on a fluke of timing - and plenty of luck). Good Luck to Indy in the SUPER BOWL!

Jack I agree. I've recieved alot of excellent advice and enjoy reading the posts...even the ones that get heated! As far as the classifieds go, it says alot for the members of the site that money and service really isn't an issue. I guess it's the mentality of sailors. Sailors go out of their way to help other sailors, that they have never met, on the water, so that trust spills over into everyday life (websites too). Just read some of the e-bay and amazon feedback on sellers and buyers and you can see how dishonest some people are.
