I replaced the bimini on my H37c because the old one was getting a little, well, tired. The the old one is still servicable if someone wants to drive to Mobile, they can have it (Yep, free) it has a 4-bow aluminum frame, with most of the associated hardware, green sunbrella with a window on top to see the masthead. This will fit a 37 Hunter Cherubini Cutter, and probably nothing else. I will not ship or otherwise lift a finger to get the thing for you - you have to pick it up. E-mail via the directory if your interested. RS

New one is stainless?

Hi Richard, I am wondering if you went with stainless on the new one. Or how the aluminum held up in the salt air. My own is aluminum and about six years old. Here on Lake Erie it still looks like new.

frame

Hi Ed: The old frame was scd-40 aluminum tubing. It held up OK, I always took it down in the hurricanes, but the new stainless steel is MUCH stronger. YOu can even use it for a handhold and not worry about bending the stuff. No real corrosion problems, just too light. Charles: you can call at home (Auburn Area 334-257-1003) and I'll arrange for the Marina to let you in. It's at Southern Marina on Dog River.
