Fox 19 carbon Mast Stepping

I just bought a 1998 Fox 19. I am going to raise the mast soon..
The manual mentions inserting the gin pole into a bracket.
The only bracket I see is the boom attachment bracket. The gin pole is about 2" and it appears that it can insert over the boom bracket?
Do any Fox owners with a carbon mast have any information that can confirm how to attach the gin pole? Any tips on how to raise it?

Figured it out. I found a missing bracket that attaches to the boom fitting.
