Thanks for the advice, it is amazing how we sometimes think alike. I put on a mask and jumped into the 55 degree water. It was the new zink that I put on the shaft. It came loose! Rattle, rattle, rattle. If this happens to you, be careful and make sure it does not slide down the shaft towards the hull! It could cause a small problem if it binds up and makes a new way to drain the water out of the boat! Ha.
