Was wondering if anyone has gone through installing a forward hatch on an Oday 22 before? What are the consequences to such a project as far as deck stability and so forth? thanks, Kenneth Craft
Been There - Done That! No problem.....Saber-sawed out the hole, sealed open edges with polyurethane (spellcheck!) then bedded the new hatch in with Life-Caulk. Now the "Hook"...I purchased the hatch direct from O'Day (1977). If I could not get a hatch contoured to the front cabin top, I might not do the job.
