forward hatches

The forward hatch cover of my Cat. 30 has a crack in it as a result of my son's falling on it. It's an odd shape, which rules our replacing it with anyting that's readily available in the boat stores (e.g., BOAT/US) Does anyone have any idea about how I can replace just the lexcan (?) without having to replace the entire hatch? Tryed it,didn't fit

I tryed the hatches from Catalina direct, they looked good but they didn't fit well. Before I drilled any holes in them(I tryed 2 of them)I went forward to check the fit and had a gap in the middle that was almost 4/10th of a inch. I called the supplier,they said they didn't have any problems with them,so I sent it back.They cost 450.00 so I wanted it to fit correctly.Everything else I have bought from them has been very good.
